WHITING ®’s CommandLIFT Power Door-Lift System Is Universal, Compact & Secure
Key Features Improved operator health and safety Improved operational efficiency Increased security Increased roll-up door service life due to smooth controlled operation Improved cargo area temperature control
Applications Power Door Opener. Compatible with nearly all WHITING roll-up doors
CommandLIFT is a remotely operated, electric power door-lift system that increases worker safety and reduces worker compensation claims by removing unnecessary lifting and climbing, minimizing the risk to your staff’s health. Activated at the touch of a button, operators no longer have to climb up onto the door frame to lift the door. The smooth, controlled movement of the power door-lift system ensures careful operation, reducing door maintenance costs by minimizing wear on the door and its components. This innovative device ensures that the roll-up doors are closed securely and will stay closed even if the door latch is not engaged, securing cargo from loss, debris, and damage from the elements. CommandLIFT can be set up to pull the bottom panel up and into the header, providing the maximum opening clearance, and deploys in 10 seconds. This results in greater efficiency when loading, as staff can move cargo more easily when not maneuvering around a door. The CommandLIFT power door-lift system is designed with safety in mind. It will automatically stop and reverse if an object is in the way allowing the obstacle to be safely removed. Potted circuit boards on the converter and receiver box, are enclosed in aluminum, so the system is resistant to shock, vibration, moisture ingress, and corrosive agents while being suitably isolated against accidental misuse. The power-door lift can be prevented from activating when in transit by the use of a slide cover on the transmitter. Luma Bar ® LED lights have been integrated into the unit for increased user safety and featuring auto shut off for when the compartment is not in use. Enhanced fleet efficiency, effective ease of use, reduced maintenance and downtime and increased cargo security make CommandLIFT a powerful addition to your fleet.
Push-button remote activation opens your WHITING roll-up door in just 10 seconds — faster loading, less downtime, greater fleet efficiency.
Operators never need to climb the door frame or manually lift heavy doors. Reduces injury risk and workers' compensation claims across your fleet.
Built-in safety system automatically stops and reverses 12 inches if an obstacle is detected during opening or closing.
Keeps the roll-up door closed and cargo secured even if the door latch hasn't been manually engaged — preventing load loss in transit.
CommandLIFT includes integrated Luma Bar® LED compartment lighting, activated via the transmitter with auto shut-off when not in use.
Potted circuit boards enclosed in aluminum resist shock, vibration, moisture ingress, and corrosive agents for long-term reliable operation.
APPLICATIONS
Need replacement parts? Contact our team and we’ll help you find the right components for your door.
Pressing the Unlock icon on the remote starts the door opening and keeps the compartment lights on for 15 minutes. Pressing the Lock icon closes the door and keeps the lights on for 1 minute. Pressing either button while the door is moving stops it immediately.
The WHITING pre-installation checklist requires confirming that the door moves easily by hand, is not waterlogged or damaged, and that there is a minimum 2 inches of clearance above the door for the CommandLIFT mechanism.
The WHITING maintenance guide recommends weekly inspection: wash the door and tracks, remove grease and debris, check cables for fraying, and inspect side seals for tears. Ensuring the gap between the door and tracks remains consistent is also part of the weekly check.
To program a replacement key fob: remove the cover from the Electronic Command Module, press the small WHITE button until the RED light glows, then press the button on the new remote transmitter to complete pairing.
The Purkey's installation guide recommends a Group 31 AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) deep cycle battery. The system has a daily parasitic draw of 1.2 amp hours and is rated for up to 300 cycles capacity.
