Accessibility at ISG
Our commitment to accessible customer service under the AODA.
Effective date: 2026
Our Commitment
Innomotive Solutions Group (ISG) is committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities. We strive to provide our goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We are also committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our goods and services and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other customers.
This policy has been established in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07.
Assistive Devices
We are committed to serving people with disabilities who use assistive devices to obtain, use, or benefit from our goods and services. We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods and services.
Communication
We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability. We will work with the person with a disability to determine what method of communication works for them. Our staff will be trained on how to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities.
Service Animals
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public. If a service animal is excluded by law from the premises, we will ensure that other measures are available to enable the person with a disability to obtain, use, or benefit from our goods and services.
Support Persons
A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises. At no time will a person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person be prevented from having access to their support person while on our premises.
Notice of Temporary Disruption
In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities, ISG will notify customers promptly. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available.
Training
ISG will provide training to all employees, volunteers, and others who deal with the public or other third parties on their behalf. Training will be provided on an ongoing basis as changes occur to relevant policies, procedures, and practices. Training will include:
- An overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the requirements of the Customer Service Standard
- ISG’s plan related to the Customer Service Standard
- How to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities
- How to interact with people with disabilities who use assistive devices or require the assistance of a service animal or a support person
- What to do if a person with a disability is having difficulty accessing ISG’s goods and services
- ISG’s policies, practices, and procedures relating to the Customer Service Standard
Feedback Process
ISG welcomes feedback on the way we provide accessible customer service. Customer feedback will help us identify barriers and respond to concerns. Feedback can be provided by contacting our Accessibility Coordinator. All feedback will be directed to the appropriate department for review. Customers can expect to hear back within 10 business days.
Modifications to Policies
Any policy of ISG that does not respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities will be modified or removed. This Accessibility Policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance with the AODA and its regulations.
