Side Frames

AMDOR currently offers three versions of side frames. The standard or conventional side frame is designed to frame the opening while providing 1/2″ of exterior body wrap to reduce water ingression and provide a solid registration point.

The wide flange exterior side frame provides 3/4″ of exterior body wrap — particularly useful where two adjacent doors have side frames butted against each other. The recessed frame has the exterior flange removed, allowing side frames to be recessed inward or for exterior cladding to tuck up next to the side frames.

AMDOR also partners with builders to produce proprietary custom side frames. All AMDOR side frames include standard pre-punched slotted holes.
