Drip shields are designed to solve three issues. With today’s loaded apparatus, improperly stowed equipment can interfere with door operation. When deploying or stowing equipment near the top of compartments it is very easy to damage the roll-up door coil. Finally, the majority of water that ends up in compartments is the result of water running/dripping off of the exterior of the door when it coils up inside the compartment.

The AMDOR drip shield attaches to a simple mounting bracket tucked up underneath the roll-up door mounting plates. It is adjustable to provide protection for a variety of coil diameters while maximizing compartment space savings. The drip shield includes spring-loaded locking pins which allow shields to be removed for service, inspection, or periodic cleaning in seconds. Available with or without drainage tubes. Suitable for new or retrofit applications. One price regardless of door size.
